Summer 2025: Jewels From The Beach (Video Only)A Special Jewelry-Making Class by B’sue Boutiques
Get ready for a breezy, beachy jewelry adventure! In this exclusive class, I’ll be sharing brand-new techniques I’ve never taught before —perfect for anyone who wants to increase their creative skills.
We’ll explore mixed media designs using seashells, beads, and wire, resin...creating outside-the-box pieces full of summer charms and coastal elegance.
Kits are limited, so grab yours early! There is also an option to purchase the class only without the kit, find it in the Muse/Classes section of the site.
Class begins Friday August 8, 2025 at 2:30pm EST til 4:30 pm EST (if you want to view and participate in the class, LIVE) and consists of four sessions through August 29. If I find we need an extra session to pull it all together, I will provide it at no extra charge. Students will have access to a virtual classroom on Facebook, where all the links for the classes will be provided. Since that resource is on Facebook, you will have to be on Facebook to receive this information and anything else that comes up regarding the class in progress--including your questions and uploads of work in progress. The classroom will be ready about a week before the videos begin, and students will be placed in the class at that time. TO REACH THIS CLASSROOM: **please watch your Facebook notifications for your invite to join***. All you have to do is click, okay the invite, and you're in!
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO VIEW THE CLASS IN REAL TIME. ;-) It will be there for you to watch any time you like, beginning any time you like...and at the end of class, you will have a custom URL to view any/all of the classes repeatedly, whenever you wish.
THE CLASSROOM WILL BE PROVIDED for one week before class starts to three weeks after all the videos are finished and uploaded. This class course may be purchased ANY TIME; we leave the links up for purchase indefinitely. If you purchase after the classroom for this session of videos is ended, I will send you by email the master link to all the classes and you won't have to be on Facebook. 18 and 28 gauge wire
vintage Japanese pearl cabs
brass necklace crescents
assorted brass bits for embellishment
necklace focal for the patina necklace (will be different from what is shown, which was a vintage locket. If you have one, you can substitute it OR anything else you'd rather use. A brass focal substitute will also be included in the kit).

It's advised that you watch the videos before attempting the projects, then watch again and work along with us or on your own, from notes you've taken.
OTHER THINGS YOU WILL NEED TO GATHER:
clasps, jump rings
vintage and scrap chain in order to piece necklines and long tassel for the Jellyfish piece.
assorted beads in whatever colorway you choose (you need them most of all for the wire based collar necklace), 3-8mm size are
best. I used stray beads for my collar shown in the photo below.
RESIN....in this case, two-part resin will be best as curing a deeper pour with UV with so many inclusions would require a lot of baby-sitting
