Anna Fearer of More Paper Than Shoes:
Beautiful Paper Flowers

It's such a pleasure to introduce you to my creative friend, Anna Fearer.   For some time now, I have been drooling over the incredible paper roses she shows us at Facebook.   They are all made by hand!

I immediately saw how they could be applied to jewelry making:   perhaps take some soft lace and some fabric glue and glue them as an accent onto a centerpiece, drape or drip! some lace, tiny beads, even buttons to make a beautiful necklace.   Or you can harden them with ModPodge or Collage Pauge and then resin them, to top a ring shank!   And what about hair jewelry?  I am hoping soon to add to this section and do some You Tube videos on my ideas.....and then I can't wait to see what YOU do with them.

This is what Anna, herself, says about her amazing craft:

I have always loved creating things with my hands. I was surrounded by sewing, painting and other different crafts during my childhood. I would watch my grandmother sew on her machine and admire my grandfather while he painted. My mother took up many different crafts that also sparked my creative side too.

Making paper flowers has been a passion of mine for many years. It started as a hobby and then into a business when I had such a demand for them. I really enjoy sharing my one of a kind creations with others. I also enjoy teaching my techniques I use to create these flowers. The best part of it all, is the fact I get to teach people. I believe there is a hidden talent in us all and some times we just need a little help finding it.

You can find me teaching some times on Ustream. I try to schedule a couple of classes a month. When I don't have scheduled classes I do an Ustream show called "Ladies Night" on Saturdays 9pm EST. We have so much fun playing around with different types of projects. You can find more about the classes on my blog.
