Buttercream Yellow Roses by Anna Fearer

When I first saw Anna's handmade paper roses, I IMMEDIATELY thought: jewelry. Wonderful mixed media designs, pretty, pretty things featuring her paper, and maybe some old lace....maybe some vintage pearl buttons.....maybe some eyelash ribbon or gypsy/silk cord....maybe a little random hand beading. Maybe even a little fine wire! About 47mm diameter, and maybe 39-40mm high with beautiful vintage style soft pastel stamens. This particular piece is made of the softest BUTTERCREAM YELLOW with the softest almost tea-stained edges. An easy place to start would be use gloss decoupage medium and coat both sides of all the petals, in maybe two light coats....and then put on a ring shank, or one of our bobby pin bases to make a hair ornament.
