Gel du Soleil

This is sort of an instant-gratification resin that is well-reported on. There is no mixing, like Diamond Glaze. The formula is non-yellowing; and it is advertised as a project for professional jewelry makers, so it is a quality product. To use: cure in direct midday sunlight or ultraviolet curing lamp (like they use in nail salons to cure nail polish quickly). A thick layer about 2mm takes around 15 minutes to set firm--but not hard. Thicker layers will take a bit longer. After exposure, the gel will continue to harden for the next few hours. You can layer with it, or cure tacky resin with it. You need to use it in a well-ventilated area, avoiding contact with skin. Wash up with soap and water. 0.3 fl oz is supposed to be enough to fill 8-10 bezels, depending on size. If you are in a hurry, need to cure some resin by putting on another layer, fix a goof quickly, or just don't want to mix or do alot of resin work, this small bottle may be just what you need. Remember---you gotta have good, direct sunlight, so you may need to work outside unless you have a UV light. It won't cure on the workbench in a dark room.....but in bright sunlight, cures pretty fast.
