FEATURED: Linda and Opie's Favorite Metal Shears---Soon To Be Yours

My friends and mentors, Linda and Opie O'Brien of Burnt Offerings Studio, gave me my first pair of metal shears---this VERY style. Of all the shears they'd tried out, these were their favorites for detail cutting. They cut tin, copper, silver up to .020 as if it was butter! For brass, we've found here that it cuts 24 ga and up very nicely. You'll need something more for anything over 20 gauge, but much of B'sue Boutiques' brass is 24-26 ga, so these will be perfect! (NOTE: Gilding weight brass is heavier, and the shears will not be adequate for anything that is gilding weight. Just shoot me a quick email if you have questions about use with brass!) Linda and Opie used these very shears in all their many classes over the years, and they are featured in their book, METAL DISCOVERY WORKSHOP. Great rubber grip, makes cutting a dream. You'll thank Linda and Opie when you purchase a pair and start working with them! I think of them *every* time I use mine!
