Mica Tiles for Altered Art Assemblage
So useful for scrap-booking, stamping, paper arts, photo transfer techniques, altered art assemblage. Mica is a natural product of the earth. It is so amazing, because it grows in fine, fine layers. One tile can be peeled apart to make several less-thick tiles. I love it for altered art assemblage, just embed your images under the mica, inside a mount. You can punch it or drill it or cut it! You can also crush the bits and pieces that are left from a project into resin or paints to make a shimmery natural glitter! They are 100% natural, heat resistant, transparent (see through!) For paper artists: mica is also acid-free and archival, so it's great on journal pages. These tiles are roughly 2x3 inches or a little larger, they are randomly free form. There are 7-9 tiles in every package, depending on size. THIS IS A BETTER DEAL, BECAUSE THE TILES ARE LARGER, bigger bang for the buck. Every package includes some cool design ideas on the back, too!
