Vintage Pearl Buttons
Or as some call them, Mississippi River clamshell buttons. Rarely made today, back 40-50-60 years ago, this was THE button you found on all shirts, dresses, baby clothes. My shell, or pearl buttons are definitely vintage, have some patina, and are GREAT when used in button collage. I built a whole line on these little old pearl buttons and there is just nothing LIKE their shimmer and shine. Approximately 1/4 lb.
