Directions:
1. Degrease the brass stampings prior to use.
2. Move to a ventilated area. For a faux metal patina, apply Rub 'n Buff with bare or gloved finger to Huge Leaf Centerpiece and Smaller Eight Spoked Leaf Centerpiece both front and back. Let dry. Buff lightly with cotton rag. Wash hands thoroughly.
3. To seal and protect the patina, brush 2-3 thin coats of Matte Accents onto the two brass stampings both front and back with a foam brush, letting dry in between coats.
4. Cut leaves apart at circle base with button shank remover.
5. For a double-sided flower, fuse batik fabrics back-to-back according to manufacturer directions. Let cool. Die-cut flower shapes from fused batik and tulle. (Flower shapes can be hand-cut as a design option.)
6. Lightly brush Adirondack Paint Dabber on batik petal edges for added interest. Let dry.
7. To seal and protect batik fabric, brush 2-3 thin coats of Matte Accents onto both front and back of each petal layer with a foam brush, letting dry in between coats. (The tulle doesn't need sealing.)
8. Die-cut card shape from microsuede for chocolate base.
9. Use a small piece of double-sided tape to adhere Crecent Beadery Grid to front, upper-right side of base. Mark end holes with chalk pencil through the taped-on grid using the pre-drilled holes as a guide.
10. Slightly lift the edge of the grid for space and punch the two marked holes with a screw punch or awl and mat.
11. Punch center holes through fabric flowers with screw punch or awl and mat.
12. Stack as desired onto the brad, placing Smaller Eight Spoked Leaf Centerpiece first, then alternating batik and tulle. It will be a tight fit. Use your thumb on the brad head for support.
13. Move to a ventilated area. Arrange the leaf and flower pendant composition to cover the grid, leaving room at the two end holes for attaching jump rings. Using E6000 with toothpick, and working back to front, glue the leaves first then the flower component onto the grid. Make sure all parts are secure while using the glue sparingly. Let dry. Wash hands thoroughly.
14. String beads on wire and form wrapped loops with pliers at each end. Attach beaded components to chain and pendant with jump rings and pliers.
15. Attach clasp to chain ends with jump rings and pliers.
16. Pin on charm and enjoy your new necklace!
