Special Orders

Special Orders? Sure!

Production artists, jewelry designers and small manufacturers frequently approach us with custom requests and bulk orders. Special orders work out really well for them as they then do not have to wait for our regular reorder cycle. Arrangements can be made to obtain and ship what they need in the amounts they require. When these orders arrive, they are inspected, inventoried and sent out directly to the customer without delay.

We can actually get you anything from our line of American made and plated brass stampings. Large quantities are not a problem. In fact, it may also be possible to get you things you may have seen someplace but don’t see here at our website. If that’s the case, point me to a URL (web address) where I can view the item. I’ll advise if I can obtain it for you and quote you a price.

If we carry the items you want, send me the SKU numbers with the amounts needed to bsue1441@aol.com. Special orders must be discussed and hand-written, and I will send you a quote for the total. Please, if you have a large list of items, be serious about ordering as this work is not automated and must be looked up and the list prepared manually. In most cases special orders must also be for 72 pieces or more of a single item, but lesser amounts may be considered, so feel free to ask.

If what you like is plated but you’d rather have it in raw brass, we can get it for you raw. In this case, it would even cost a little less. If we had an item in brass ox but you would rather have it in silverware silverplate, we can make those arrangements as well, but in that case it would cost a little more, as silverware silverplated finish costs a good bit more than brass ox.

Usually turn around is 2.5-3 weeks from the time the order is submitted, til the time we receive the goods. The items will be made for you, and plated for you, so it takes a little lead time. During peak season or holiday times, the lead time may be twice as long. You can count on us to submit your orders and make the arrangements as quickly as possible, and we can suggest that they rush it, but the fact remains that **we cannot guarantee a rush or a delivery date**.

A ten percent discount applies to all special orders over 250.00. Because of the escalating cost of brass, plating, and the amount of handwork involved in preparing special orders, the only discount that can apply at this time is 10% for over 250.00 in merchandise. We do offer 15% off 500.00 or more if you order straight from the site from available stock, using our shopping cart system, but the 15% discount is no longer available for special orders because of the reasons stated previously.

Special orders are prepaid, either by PayPal or Visa/MC. They cannot be cancelled in the event that the tooler or plater is slow in getting the work back to us, and they are not refundable. If you are not sure of a product, please purchase samples and then decide if the plating shade is correct or the goods will work for you, before placing a large special order.

If you do production work and are designing a line, be sure to track available items in your workshop and enter orders for anticipated items ahead of time, rather than waiting til an order from your customer arrives---catching you short. This way you will always have what you need to produce the items in your line without having big waits, potentially losing the order, if deadlines are an issue. If you are wholesaling your work or thinking of presenting it to stores, deadlines are a huge issue, you never want to be caught short.

If you have any questions regarding this process or would like to place a special order, you can contact me through this website or directly at bsue1441@aol.com. If you have special needs or need to speak to me, I am almost always in the office Tuesdays 8am-4:30pm EST, and Wednesday evenings 4-9pm EST, or Sunday afternoons 2-6pm EST. I do work in the office every day, but the other days you will find me only by chance. Feel free to leave a message and I will return your call.

Have fun designing and planning!
