B'sue Boutiques Store

For many years I've been asked by customers if they can come to visit us at B'sue Boutiques.   Sadly, previous to last summer, we had no place to welcome them.

That has changed!

You will find us at 42 1/2 Garfield Avenue in East Palestine, Ohio 44413.   The shop phone is 1-330-886-0052

We are located directly behind the Sparkle Grocery Market, on the south end of town.  The Sparkle Market is on Market Street, Rt. 170 South.

Our large jewelry making inventory is online, as always.  Out front, we show many pieces of handmade jewelry as well as select silk floral, vintage, books and gifts.   Just the same, we are slowly bringing brass stampings, cameos, cord, charms and findings out front.  They are proving to be best sellers!

Plans are to convert the central part of the floor out front to bead/findings storage/vending, and perhaps a place to come and sit and work on a project.   I do believe folks want  this to be a bead shop rather than a gift shop, so we are going to make it happen.

I accept private students.  You can arrange to come and have your own class.   I teach patina/colorization, basic mixed media applications, basic beading on wire, and assemblage/collage.   Price depends on what you would like to learn and how much time we will need to set aside; you can contact me privately about it through the CONTACT US link here on the website.

I also share quick techniques with visitors who are inquisitive, no charge!

If you would like to make an order and then pick it up at the shop, you may.   We will be happy to refund the shipping fee and hold it for your arrival.  Please set up an appointment so that you will be sure someone is in the shop when you arrive.

You may also make an offline order so that you have a 'pick list' to bring with you when you visit if you would rather work with us that way.   Please inquire about how this works, I will assist you----and also be watching for the offline order in my website email,  as well as be prepared for your visit.   So just contact me first by email, or call the shop for easy instructions.

Our hours generally are:

Monday and Tuesday by appointment or by chance.   I am usually here 10-5 at least, though.  If the lights are on, sign is on, and door unlocked, come right in!

Wednesday, 2-9pm   Sometimes I am teaching Wednesday nights.

Thurs, Friday 10-4:30pm

Saturday   2-5 pm   Sometimes I am here by 10, however.

Sunday   2-9pm

Always call if you are coming from out of town, as though the shop may be open, I might not be here.  I would hate to miss you!

Other places of interest in the area:

  • 1820 House Candles
  • Black Dog Antiques
  • Farmtiques   very unique vintage and antiques  open Thurs-Sun
  • The Company Store in nearby Negley, Ohio  open Thurs-Fri-Sat 10-4   in good weather
  • The Rogers Flea Market in nearby Rogers, Ohio   FRIDAYS  open year round but best in summer/fall
A good trip would be to come on a Thursday and stay in the Dutch Haus Inn in Columbiana, Ohio:
There are a lot of cute little shops in Columbiana, too.  It's about eight miles from us, straight down the road on Rt. 14 going West.

Arise early, have a lovely breakfast at the Inn, and go to the Rogers Market on Friday.  Then swing by the Company Store to be mesmerized at all the loot my friend, Linda Oliastro has..... and then come and see us at B'sue Boutiques, as well as try the other little shops in town.

Stay over Friday night, and come back and see me again at B'sue Boutiques, maybe have a little class or work on a project with me.

Think about it, plan a trip, call me!   I'll be waiting for you!
