Bird earrings with stone set drop, 22K gold finish pewter, Victorian style, pewter castings, B'sue by 1928, US made. Found through researching the older 1928 catalogs, we found these amazing bird post earrings and wondered if the casting could be found and the earrings reproduced? The answer was yest!. Measures 26 x 17mm. (measurement includes end hole). Stone set for eye measures about 1-2mm and the drop measures about 4mm. Lovely bird post, very dimensional, wings in flight. Post measures about 10mm with three notches for thin to thicker ear lobes. (without ear nuts). Has the 1928 signature design on the back. 22K Gold Finish is a rich bright gold wash over the pewter. Very strong and sturdy, it is lead and cadmium free. Sold by the pair, does not include ear nuts.
