Semi precious cabochon stones with flat back. Howlite stones, oval, dyed a deep lapis blue. Measuring 40 x 30mm. Color runs fairly true on these stones although there may be minor differences in subtle markings. Given the cost of true lapis lazuli, dyed howlite lapis is a very fine alternative. It is beautiful and probably costs even less than Czech glass. We cull our stones for quality to make sure of no cracks or chips and that the over-all appearance of the stone is very pleasing. You should expect variations in all natural, semi precious stones. Looks great in any of our mounts and I love it in the new pewter findings from B'sue by 1928. No stone are exactly alike. Sold by the piece.
