Diamond-Cut Black and Gold Fine Chain, Brass Base

This amazing vintage chain is two-toned, black and gold. It's diamond-cut, so it sparkles a little. Links are very fine. 2x1.5mm links. I look at this chain as the perfect stuff to make a fantastic tassel. To pull the fine chains together, I'd probably use 28 gauge wire. Then, I'd just thread the various links on to a length of the wire til I have the tassel size I want, then I would wrap and twist the wire, then loop and trim. I'd top it with a nice matte black or rusted iron bead cap buy threading the tassel onto an eye pin, and then pulling it up through the center tightly, loop and wrap. It will look GREAT! Sold by the foot.
